The Malaysian Immigration Department requires foreign nationals to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before entering the country.
This form includes essential details such as personal information, passport number, arrival date, mode of transport (air, land, or sea), and the last point of departure.
Travellers should have a printed copy of the completed form ready to present at the immigration counter. The officer will verify this alongside the passport, which must be valid for at least six months from the travel date.
The MDAC must typically be completed within three days of your arrival. The allowed stay in Malaysia with this arrival card is up to 30 days. Once inside the country, the arrival card cannot be modified, nor is it necessary to report a new departure date if it is within the approved stay duration, as indicated by the entry stamp.
